Grab grandparents (surely they can remember what was taught in their schools), gray-haired friends, even students who are questioning what they are learning. Read the whitewashed and revised books, especially on American history and the Constitution. Test your children yourselves on what you believe is necessary information, like the books they are reading for English class. Are they studying literature? What are the books in the syllabus? Did you know that in the near future, they will be reading manuals, directives, and not
studying Shakespeare, Dickens, or our famous, classic authors? Does your school teach Latin? A dead language? No way - ask anyone who writes.
What about science? Do they know where oxygen comes from? How important carbon dioxide is to the planet and who/what converts it to oxygen? Set up a closed fish tank ecosystem for illustration. A couple of goldfish, real aquarium plants, gravel, a snail. Get the instructions on the net.
Please get involved. The intelligence bar is being set too low. Ambition to excellence must be a standard in your home. And if necessary, because Obama wants to end all home schooling and make it illegal, do it anyway. Did you know Ron Paul has come out with a homeschooling program?
Do not let your children be brainwashed little state-owned robots who do not need you, or worse, do not want you or your opinions.
