Unspeakable Democratic Disrespect at Benghazi Hearings
And here we thought the September 11, 2012 bureaucratic “failures” were the worst of the Democratic scandal.
Not even. Yesterday, congressional Democrats topped it.
In what Bizpac Review called
“Despicable” fifteen Democratic members of the House Government
Oversight committee WALKED OUT OF THE HEARING before the parents of the
victims were due to speak.
Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y.Danny Davis, D-Ill.Eleanor Holmes Norton, D-D.C.Gerald E. Connolly, D-Va.Jim Cooper, D-Tenn.John Tierney, D-Mass.Mark Pocan, D-Wisc.Matt Cartwright, D-Penn.Michelle Lujan Grisham, D-N.M.Peter Welch, D-Vt.Stephen Lynch, D-Mass.Steven Horsford, D-Nev.Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill.Tony Cardenas, D-Calif.William Lacy Clay, D-Mo.
The last name is especially appalling to me.
This action was not at all unseen and to the Chairman, the
very much and moreso every day, esteemed Rep. Darrell Issa of
California, recorded the moment on his Twitter account, thus
immortalizing the flippancy of people elected to be a rubber stamp for
their party.
The Benghazi theme of the Foggy Bottom Theater of Scandal
has been quite illuminating in regards to Democratic dismissal of the
concerns that Americans have not just as to what was going on in Libya,
but why our fighting forces stood down that night sacrificing a sitting
ambassador. To what end? We still have no answer. And as Jonah
Goldberg of National Review said tonight on the Fox Special Report
panel, we may not know until this is made a 2016 issue with Hillary
Clinton’s presidential run.
Frankly, that is pathetic, and it has not gone unnoticed.
We the people have not forgotten. The IRS scandal may impact us more personally, but we will not let this go away.
Rep. Issa is headed for Libya next week. God be with him.
