Why on earth are we getting the dregs - the dangerous dregs - in the food chain?  Glued meat, battery-kept chickens who are injured and sick and fed drugs, same with cows and any stock coming through the slaughter houses.  Our standards are in the gutter; the shrimp coming from the far east are fed human and animal fecal material to the extent that outhouses are placed above the containment pens for shellfish and other farmed fish like zwai.  We are shipping out prime meat out to other countries, exporting OUR homegrown food and importing low or no-standard food for American consumption.  Think about it.
